Carpool and Traffic Information

Traffic Flow (Drop-off/Pick-up)

All traffic arriving on campus should observe the arrows indicating the proper flow of traffic. Gates B and E (high school), and E and F (middle school) will be open for drop-off and pick-up only. Follow arrows on the map for traffic flow, drop-off points, and exiting locations. Parents are expected to follow all traffic laws and regulations including cell phone usage, illegal U-Turns, and speed limitations. Making a U-Turn to get into the E, F Gate line is strictly prohibited. Parents approaching the school from Via Rocas, driving west on La Tienda, should use Gate E as right turns into Gate F are limited to faculty only. Parents driving East on La Tienda should utilize Gate F. Parents are expected to follow the instructions of the campus supervisor and these guidelines for the safety of our school community.

SPECIAL NOTE: FOR TRAFFIC FLOW PURPOSES, GATES E, F, AND G HAVE ONE-WAY DESIGNATIONS FOR ENTRY OR EXIT. SEE MAP FOR DETAILS. Grades 4-8 students should be dropped off:

Morning Drop-Off (Grades 4-8):

  1. Using Gate F, follow the middle school entrance road to the drop-off area.
  2. Using Gate E, enter on the high school campus, continue along the back road to the drop-off area near the bridge to the middle school campus.
  3. Once students arrive at blue cones, students must exit quickly, and parents must remain in their vehicles to keep the line moving efficiently.
  4. Bus drop-off in the mornings for all students is in Lot B, just past Calvary’s main entrance.
  5. Students cannot be dropped off anywhere other than their assigned location, including on La Tienda Dr.

Afternoon Pick-Up (Grades 4-8):

  1. Using Gate F, follow the middle school entrance road to the drop-off area.
  2. Using Gate E, enter on the high school campus, continue along the back road to the drop-off area near the bridge to the middle school campus.
  3. Parents must display carpool placards for pickup.
  4. Parents must stay in their vehicles during the pickup process to keep the line moving efficiently.
  5. If a student is waiting to be picked up with a HS sibling, they cannot cross to the HS until 3:15pm.
  6. Bus pick-up in the afternoons for all students is at the entrance of Thorson Stadium, near the football field. Students wait for the bus in the MS Café and can walk to Thorson Stadium 15 minutes prior to departure.
  7. Students cannot be picked up on La Tienda St.

Visitors and Parking:

  • As a campus security measure, entrance Gate E will be closed daily between 8:30am-2:30pm.
  • Grades 4-8 parents and visitors should use Gate F to access the parking areas on the MS campus. All visitors must check in at the middle school main reception desk.
